This sort of thing couldn't possibly happen in our country, could it?
I mean members of our ruling New Labour government couldn't possibly be involved in any thing as sordid, corrupt and immoral in this country, could they?

Tony and New Labour says there is no proof that they've done anything illegal. Tony says these spurious allegations are totally unfounded.
Tony says that the last Tory government was full of sleeze and that his New Labour government could do better than them. Indeed you have Tony, you have certainly done a lot better than them.
