F*****g disgrace.

50 years of institutionalised torture, abuse and rape and who knows what else (murder no doubt).

I hope the victims take the Catholic church for every penny its got and the b******s who did the filthy deeds go to prison.

One cannot be surprised...

The inevitable result of a sectarian state.

This is Ireland's, and in particular the Catholic Church there's, holocaust.

It is inconceivable that anyone who has an ounce of Christian compassion can excuse that. And all those ruined lives.

Incredible. I would urge the victims to go for it, when it comes to demands for compensation.

The abuse was always there. Of course it was. The abuse was always there because the church was infallible and therefore those in AUTHORITY over children could not be challenged. The myth of "celibate" priests, monks, etc was always a lie, covering up some deeply unhealthy forms of sexuality. There is nothing new about any of this. The thing that is new is that the catholic church's dirty buggers are being dragged kicking and screaming into the light. Well done to those who are doing the dragging.
