The situation in Gaza is horrific. Over 1000 Palestinians dead, one third of them children. The great majority of them not "combatants", but civilians. Thousands badly injured. 14 Israelis dead. The BBC 10 o'clock news last night showed footage of children in Gaza who had been shot at point blank range in the back and the head by Israeli military. WHAT CAN WE DO? Demonstrate in Dundee this Saturday, 17th January. Nadia El-Nakla in final talks with Dundee City Council/Police. Details so far: Assemble near the new Dundee University teaching building, the white building at the corner of the Old Hawkhill and Hunter Street, at 11.30 a.m. March off at 12 noon to Rally in City Square. Exact route and speakers yet to be confirmed. More information to follow. This will be a big event. Please campaign to maximise turnout. If possible, bring your own banners, posters, etc, home made ones, if you can.
