Well, this is not my first post but "better later than never" as we say in Spain.
I am from Spain, living in Madrid.

Greetings to all, people of Scotland.

PD. Excuse me my poor English, please.

Hello again, Carol. You are very kind with me.

Well.. i will go to Scotland this October as a tourist.
When i travel, i like to know more about the place that (which?) i will visit.
I am reading books, travel guides...

I like talking about politics, so, i saw some web sites of political parties of Scotland and other sites and i found a link to this forum.
I think this forum is very nice.

And i don´t like very much english people since "The Battle of Trafalgar" Laughing Laughing I am joking.

I will go to Scotland with my own car so... be careful with me! Very Happy
I like to travel driving my car because i think it is a wonderful way to know
many places, talking with people...

More questions? I will respond to you enchanted.

Greetings.

Edit. I would like to see the Highlands. It seems wonderful.

Hi Celtiberian - welcome to the forums.

Your English is excellent - much better than my very limited Spanish! Smile

CB

Surely not a boy/girl racer? Are the Spanish maniacs on the road? Rolling Eyes (I've never visited Spain). I'm sure we'll be careful with you Wink

It's going to be a very long journey driving from Spain to Scotland Shocked

I can't help you with your English as my grammar is terrible.

I like the way you slip enchanted into your sentence Wink although not really appropriate something like 'I would be pleased to respond' would probably be better.

Best of luck planning your trip

Regards

Carol

Haha, yes, yes, i know, and i am a little bit afraid.
I will be afraid only the first 1000 miles, sure Laughing
Driving on the left side will be a new experience for me.

Yes, and i love it.
I will go to Calais, an then i will cross Eurotunnel.
Madrid-Edimburgh, around 2000 Kms (1 Mile-1´6 Kms)

Thanks. I will write this next time.
In Spanish:

'Te responderé encantado'

Polite form:

'Le responderé encantado'

Does it sounds 'enchanted' ridiculous or something like that? i don´t know, sorry.

CB you're a bit too old for a boy, a young man morelike.

Enchanted wasn't too ridiculous it didn't quite fit in the sentence.

Your English is really good.

another site worth visiting which has a discussion forum is http://www.visitedscotland.com/forums/index.php
