I just joined after finding a link over at P.ie and had a browse around. Interesting discussions. I suppose some introduction of myself for ye?
Well, I'm not a republican. I'm from the British tradition in Ireland and my family is mixed Catholic & Protestant. But I'm leaning more towards a federal state of the British isles and a federal Ireland which would encompass Ireland north and south. Most of all though, I'd like to consider myself a realist.
Anyway, looking forward to discussing with you.

Hi 'Irish Prod' - welcome to the forums. _________________ "Every single person on this planet is unique. Just like everyone else..." - Random Guy in Edinburgh Pub
"There is British nationalism or Scottish nationalism. I prefer the civic nationalism of small nations that has been expressed through the independence of a dozen European nations of similar size to Scotland in the past 100 years. They have prospered and I'd choose the tolerance and peace of Norway and Ireland over Trident and the illegal Iraq war any day. - Alex Salmond
