How ironic that William Calley, sentenced to life in prison for his role in massacre of 500 people but then commuted to three years' house arrest, has just now made his first public apology 38 years later.

Three years house arrest followed by over thirty years of freedom ! Compare that outcome with the one of a certain Libyan whose conviction is considered unsafe by the Scottish Criminal Case Review Commission.
