Some sporting heroes of Ulster. Taken from the Nothern Ireland Goverment 50th Anniversary Book. Among them ar Rinty Monaghan World Flyweight Champion. The Belfast Celtic Football team who beat Scotland 2-1

John Caldwell World Bantamweight Champion. The Down Gaelic Football Team at a reception in Belfast City Hall in the 1960s.

Thanks congal,that was interesting seeing those pictures.

I am currently listening to the cricket match between Ireland v bangladesh here in Barbados. Ireland is now 65 for nothing doing well. If they win it will raise their rankings no end,my fingers are crossed for them! Very Happy
