Norway changed their manager and are now in with a chance of qualifying. We have stuck with our dud, despite poor performances and results and our chances are now slim.

Should we get rid of George Burley?

My own view is that GB has been tested and found wanting. He doesn't inspire. Can't motivate. Players don't seem to respect him. Tactics and formations are wrong.

I really can't see Scotland under GB beating Macedonia and Holland. Someone like Craig Levein could lift the team.

It's probably all in vain though. The SFA are notorious at standing by their crap managers.

As much as I would love to see Scotland get to the play-offs, I think the damage is done.  I don't think there is any way in which we will be able to beat Holland.  No matter who is manager.

And I think we will need to beat them to get into the top 8 second best placed teams.

The other thing is there will be no-one willing to take the job with only two qualifying matches left.

I think the best thing is to let him see out the two remaining games, then hope Man Utd win the Premier League and the European Cup, then Fergie will retire, then we can entice him to take on Scotalnd again  Very Happy
