Any player that you felt your team should have signed, would you have done it differently from you manager?
Or are you delighted with a signing?

I'm happy with Celtics transactions in the transfer window.
Chris Sutton will be missed but big players like him need to be playing and I'm sure Strachan would have kept him if Sutton wanted to stay.
Roy Keane has still to settle in to the scheme of things but I'm sure we will play a big part this season and even more next season after Lennon leaves in the summer.
Our young defenders need to play games to get better so I am glad that Strachan has only brought in Dublin as an emergency back up and Caldwell in the summer. Charlie Mulgrew will get good first team experience at Dundee United and I feel that we have the basis of a good young defence emerging if the fans give them time and show more patience. Wilson will be a great signing and a good long term replacement for Agathe and Telfer.
Of course the best signing we have made in the last week is the signing of Petrov until 2009, that was as important as any new faces. And then there is Kenny Miller joining the squad in the summer.
Overall I think Strachan has done well to resist panic buying and Celtic fans should remember that the squad we already had have taken us 8 points clear in the league. |

Stachan will have done well as long as you still win the league. Which I'm pretty sure you will. I don't think anyone knows how good all those Hearts signings will be though.
As for Hibs. Firstly, well done the board for having the foresight to keep a hold of Riordan. If we are in Europe next season it will be in no small part due to him. I really don't get it though... We are scoring plenty goals, and have more than enough midfielders. We really needed to strengthen at the back, and he only brought in one defender. Konde looks pretty decent, but it's not enough. We needed at least on other centre half and a right back as well. Good to see Killin come in (not so sure about Dalgleish) to give O'Conner a bit of competition, but I think we might regret not bringing in anyone else at the back. |
