Two more candidates in the by-election anyone know anything about them?

This quote from M. Curran has baffled me:

"The council has paid for 20 extra police because the SNP broke their promise in recruiting extra officers," she said.

Strange thing to highlight that there are an extra 20 police because of an SNP broken promise !!!

I think 9 candidates is more than enough. A record 26 candidates are standing in the Haltemprice and Howden by-election that is quite silly.
