The tournament got off to an unexpected start tonight as the hosts, England were defeated by massive underdogs Holland.

Scotland are playing New Zealand at the Oval tomorrow at 10.00.

Coverage is on BBC Radio and highlights (let's hope there are some!) are on BBC 2 at 2315.

Scotland came so close to beating New Zealand today. The match was reduced to 7 overs each due to rain and Scotland raced to an unbelievable 48 after 4 overs.

They finished on 89-4, but unfortunately NZ got to 90 with an over to spare.

Unbelievable effort by Scotland though.

It is South Africa tomorrow at 13.30.

Scotland made a good account of themselves in this tournament, but alas they were knocked out.

It is all experience though. Playing against the world's best players can only be a benefit.
