Hi, I'm Gavin from Kilmarnock. Throughout my life I've went through both unionist and nationalist phases and am currently in the latter, though only moderately.

My username comes from a phrase my former MP, William Ross, used to describe the SNP. I would describe my politics as socially and economically moderate, perhaps off to the right on the economy. During my unionist phases, I view the Conservatives as my party, another aspect to my choice in username. I support the SEP despite my pro-EU stance at the moment.

I am a melting point of Scottish, Irish, Nordic and English ancestry.

Hi, good you're here.

I too don't care much about football.  Like the world cup though.
