With two days to go, the SNP is in a stronger position than ever before
to lead the next government of Scotland.

The people of Scotland have listened to the SNP's positive vision for
our country. Our vision of progress, hope and potential has reached
more of them than ever before. Well-worn scare tactics, which have been
used in the past to hide our message, have this time been
counter-productive, and have only served to highlight the stark contrast
between our belief in what Scots can do, and what Scotland can be, and
the low ambition and lack of vision offered by our opponents. We have
attracted support from a broad range of people, organisations and even
national newspapers - all energised by what the SNP is offering, and
motivated by a shared belief in our country's potential.

Our positive campaign has won the debate over what Scotland can and
should be, but that on its own is not enough. An SNP government will
deliver progress for Scotland and a referendum on Independence, but that
is in the future. For the next three days, all of us must do whatever
we can to ensure that Thursday brings this opportunity to govern, and
sees an historic step forward for the SNP, but more importantly for
Scotland.

Some of you have worked hard for years to be in the position we now find
ourselves, and some of you will be working in your first campaign. All
of you will have spoken to some of the thousands of voters who are
considering voting SNP, many for the first time. We know from canvass
returns and reports from around the country that undecided voters are
moving towards the SNP in increasing numbers as the campaign reaches its
conclusion. For the next few days, we must continue to engage with all
of these voters, putting forward our positive message and gaining their
trust, but we must also make an unprecedented effort to capitalise on
our efforts to date.

For the first time, through your efforts, our Activate system, and an
unprecedented level of resources, we have the capability to turn out our
vote in a way that can make a real difference to results across the
country. We are better resourced than before, and our call centres, and
online volunteers, will be contacting every SNP supporter that your
canvassing efforts have identified. Those supporters who we cannot
contact by telephone must be visited locally. We have spoken with over
300,000 voters in this campaign, and our data tells us that a number of
constituency and wards which we might never have hoped to win are now
possible - but only if we succeed in getting our vote out between now
and 10pm on Thursday.

We all hope that the election of a first SNP government will lead to
even better days ahead, but there will be no better time than now to
make a start down that road.

We have worked together to reach the position we now find ourselves, and
now we must all redouble our efforts and deliver the success for which
we have all strived. All the efforts you will make over the next few
days can make a real difference to the result of the election. Between
now and 10pm on Thursday, let us do everything possible to make an SNP
victory a reality.
