Aid for Gaza (but nor Sri Lanka)Saudi Arabia is donating a billion dollars to gaza people and for the reconstruction of the place.
The US is donating a similar amount as is the EU and others are donating hefty amounts.
Around $3,000 per person will be received in the coming months, given that the population is little more than a million.
Now I'm not saying that should not happen as I'm sure there will be many people there who need it. But I will ask this - what about Sri Lanka? Does no-one care? Thousands have been killed there, tens of thousands are trepped yet it is being ignored. Why?
I could also mention Darfur and Congo.

The population is 1.5 million, you are possibly getting confused with the 1 million UN recognised refugees and forgetting the half million who are now gazans, although mostly descended from people who were refugees in 1948.

What exactly are you saying?
US aid to Israel runs at about 2.5 billion dollars per year, every year. Its easy to throw comparisons around and pick one out to highlight the difference.
