BRIT RULEI have been studing the Brit Rule and Irish Rebellion, it was wrong what happend back before our great grandfarthers time. And many english like my self hold are heads in shame when the subject is brought up, but it is no reason to call the new generations of english scum because of something that happend back in the 1920's.It is right that Ireland should be sepperated, like england/scotland , why should a london GOVEMENT (i highlight this for a reason not the people but the maggots that run, countrys) & occupy a country which is not their native land(ireland) and try and run (SCOTLAND). So the Irish had a right to rebel against the British Govement,as do scottish people. but it shouldn't be taken out on the Innocents, and thereforth the IRA, UDA, UFF,PIRA and RIRA,SNLA are terrorists for killing innocent people for policitcal reasons as do Al Qaeda. And SCOTS/IRISH have the right to call Govements Scum because they are also ivolved in terroist related things. My point of this all is Dont Brand all AS Scum because off something that happend 300,YRS 80 years ago.

I was going to post a reply to this that questioned your point. ANd why you say it as though the Brits can't govern Scotland (When Scotland is Britain!) Instead I will write this.
I don't care what my ancestors did, I will feel no guilt or praise for anything bad or good they did. I had no part in it, I may disagree or agree with what they did but I will feel no emotion regarding guilt or praise. I don't care if my ancestors were persecuted or were the persecutors. Infact I will find it hard to believe that a person doesn't have ancestors on both sides of history. So my ancestors probably persecuted my other ancestors and I don't care. I don't care if some of my ancestors from the highlands in 1745 fought on the wrong side, against Scotland and George II it was their choice.

Do you mean that the whole of Ireland should be governed as one state by a single Irish government, or do you mean it is right that a bit of the north should still be part of the U.K.? It is not clear.

It does make one wonder Jambo - Sein Fein and all the rest of the rabble ...who say they were/are fighting for a free Ireland. Over 70% of them were/are claiming UK benefits hell, if they hate the Union that much why are they claiming UK benefits? Its like all these people who want independence...UK benefits are all right but the UK has a whole stinks. The point is the said 70% have no principles!

I'm not posting a lot nowadays because of time differences and not keeping up to date with newspapers etc., but I have to say this post is the biggest load of pish I've read on here in a long time.
Care to provide a source for your figure that 'Over 70% of them (whoever them are supposed to be) claim UK benefits'?

Is it not obvious that the north will join the south of Ireland..when the catholics will out number the protestants and will vote for unification....anyway this catholic/protestant rubbish should be finished....I would really like the protestants to welcome unification and rid themselves of the union jack!!!!

I think it's far from obvious that it will ever happen. There are far too many issues between the two communities and any flexibility from either one would be a sense of defeat. The NI Unionists are not going to roll over and accept that.
I'm sure the Protestants would love it too if the Catholics rid themselves of all that tricolour nonsense. Both sides have their own interests, you're just taking one side of the argument.
