Could this work in Scotland?I'm sure everyone has heard the psychological theory that fast powerful cars are a way of compensating for sexual inadequacies, haven't they?A very successful advertising campaign has been run in Australia which boils down to attractive young women waving their pinkies (a symbolic gesture meaning "small penis") at young men in speeding cars. This has resulted in lots of boy racers reconsidering their driving habits with a subsequent dramatic fall in reckless driving by young men. Could it work in Scotland? I doubt it even works in Australia.
You'd probably end up with a fist in your face or a knife in your back if you tried that to any boy racer. |

The point is it does work in Australia, as the report... err... reports.
It's not really supposed to be the public wagging their pinkies at real boy racers, it's the actors in the ads doing it to other actors in the ads. Having said that, I'd bet pretty girls could get away with it in real life without suffering violence or abuse in return. |

That's what we're told, and supposed to believe.
In urban Scotland? From some of what I've seen on the streets, some Scotsmen do not refrain from hitting women, even in public.
