like all manner of people I too am suffering the credit crunch, but I am trying to take some revenge/positives/gloating from an awful situation!!

1) The Halifax - refused me an increase in my overdraft by £200 upto £400 which would have helped me complete payment of my student fees in full circa 2001.

2) The Halifax again - declined the above overdraft request but on the same visit were happy to encourage student debt by flogging me a credit card with a £1000 limit instead!

3) Morgan Stanley, Capital One, etc - the people who since i turned 18 bombarded me with pre-filled in credit card forms and blank cheques. Its taken about 4 house moves to escape their junk mail.

4) AIG - came into my work and boasted about how global they were and how reputable they are within the business. Maybe should reconsider their sales pitch!

5) "No More Boom and Bust".... the standard rebuttal at PMQs and Budget day for the last decade has now been blown out the water.

6) USA treasury - needed to be knocked down a peg or two. Hopefully, won't be able to go into any new wars for a couple of generations!

7) The guys presenting on the BBC money program. They've been having it easy for years!!

Anyone care to add their own take on this?

.....some really s**t companies that have been getting away with rubbish products and even worse service will go bust.

I would add all the people gloating about making a killing from their buy to let mortgages and programmes about buying houses and selling them on for a fortune - not likely to see those programmes again any time soon!
