Yes, you can enjoy a feast of folk for nada simply by turning up for the march and rally in support of an independence referendum. aye and it's myself that will be at the gathering as well. I have juat awoke from a seven hour sleep, my marching brogues are polished and my kilt and stuff is in the car awaiting myself to hurl it up the road. Better thravelling up that bluidy M 6 motorway in the early hours to avoid the car park it becomes during the day at Birmingham. It will be good to meet like minded folk set on putting the world to rights. well scotland for starters,anyway.

Just back from the march.
There was a great turnout and it was a cracking day. The entertainment was fantastic as well. Congratulations to Independence First for organising it all. Let's hope it got a few more people thinking about independence or certainly Scotland's right to have a say over its future. |

Thanks RH, as one of the coordinators (march end) I'm glad it's over! It was difficult to determine the numbers we did leave the assemble point with a few hundred think we picked up near 100 at the Heb  at one point the police said we definitely had around 700 if not more. Once again the weather was on our side!
Many thanks to all who supported this event and to those who volunteered as stewards  (it's not easy trying to persuade people to do this)
