I think my flatmate's got a couple of books that go into Welsh nationalism. I'll try and remember to have a look later. Don't think you'll find much on English nationalism though.

The Welsh Extremist by Ned Thomas (1973) was very popular, also, The Dragon's Tongue by Gerald Morgan (1966).

A book has recently been published about the late Gwynfor Evans but it is in Cymraeg, i'm sure a Saesneg translation will follow.

I am not very knowledgeable on the subject of Welsh nationalism but one novel that I have read by the Welshman,Ramond Williams which was entitled"Border Country" gives such a sense of place,of time and of belonging that I would recommend it to any nationalist,Scottish or welsh.This lovely book has just been reprinted and is well worth the effort in obtaining a copy.It may be classed as fiction but I sense a wealth of experiences emphasized in the content within.
