The Big Sky

Big Trouble In Little China

(Can I suggest that "a" and "the" be disallowed from continuing into the next movie suggestions? They just make things too easy in my opinion. But it's your game, Crookie. You make the rules.)

The China Syndrome

Still not sure who "Crookie" is, but I agree with the suggestion of banning "A", "An" and "The".  Let it be so.
Blackadder

The Stendahl Syndrome   (Dario Argento)
Cruachan

I knew this would happen.  Confused  Only 5 posts in and already a film I have never heard of, thereby exposing my lack of filmgoing credibility.  Unless we go with the co-star of that film, Thomas Kretschmann, then link to Thomas Crown Affair, then we can get back to the cosy mainstream. Smile
Blackadder

I think that's a good idea, Crookie.  If you don't know the movie but you do know who acted in it, thereby creating a link to another movie is a great idea!  Especially for the less than stellar intellects amongst you all.  How clever of you!!

It's like the Six Degrees of Separation with Kevin Bacon game. Cool!  I'm copacetic with that.  But don't you think you should limit it to only leads, since anyone could use any minor character we've never heard of??

The Thomas Crown Affair, eh?  The original or the remake??  That'll fox a few!

An Affair To Remember (1957) (Cary Grant, Deborah Kerr) (Dir. Leo McCarey)

See how I give info to help the next choice?  I think Carol could get to like this, since she's not great with proper titles.  Laughing
carol

Very Happy I've lost track!

keep it basic BA, you're taxing my brain!
Blackadder

Murder By Death (1976)

Writer: Neil Simon.
Starring: Peter Falk, Sir Alec Guinness, Peter Sellers, Truman Capote, Nancy Walker, David Niven, Maggie Smith, Kames Coco, Eileen Brennan, James Cromwell, Elsa Lanchester, Estelle Winwood.
Beginning and end credits by the great Charles Addams.

An absolute classic movie!  If you haven't seen it ... you haven't lived.  That and "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid" are two the best movies ever!  Very Happy

Alice Dear, isn't "Farewell My Lovely", the 1975 remake of "Murder My Sweet" ... and not one long title??
kathyv

Do you all think you could add the date of the film you have in mind?  Otherwise it could be a (lesser quality) remake with different actors in it from the original.

Just think of The Omen (1976) and it's truly awful (and totally unnecessary) remake of 2006.
kathyv

That's a good idea.
