Hawaiian Separatists Arrested after Palace Takeover

'A group of Native Hawaiians claiming to be the state's legitimate
rulers occupied the grounds of a historic palace for two hours before
being arrested by state officers in the second recent takeover of its
kind... Hawaiian activists have long used the site for protests
against the U.S. occupation of the islands.'

The Empire's days are certainly numbered, folks. From the
Federally-occupied Pacific islands of Hawaii to Federally-occupied
Afghanistan to Federally-occupied Dixie, signs of unrest and
opposition to far-off rule are everywhere. How long do our rulers in
Washington, District of Corruption think they can hold their global
regime together?

If anything, Hawaii should come under British rule.

It still does have the Union Flag incorporated in its flag - and the British (Captain Cook, etc) were the first white men to go there.
Holebender

So never mind the aboriginal population, the first white people to go there get to rule the place. I suppose it was a mistake to decolonise Africa and Asia too!

Australia and New Zealand have the Union Flag incorporated into their flags. Should they come under British rule too?
Blackleaf

It WAS a mistake to decolonise Africa and Asia.

Under British rule, for example, Zimbabwe was one of Africa's richest countries, known as the "Breadbasket of Africa."

But now that it is independent, Zimbabwe is ruled by a despotic dictator.

Millions of Zimbabweans are probably wishing the British never left.

The British Empire is something I, and probably the majority of British people, are proud of.

Strange as it may seem, it's probably British colonial past in Africa which has contributed most to him holding on to power for so long, and it is Europe's colonial past which is still damaging that continent still. IMHO.
