Hi from Valencian CountryHi there!
I'm a nationalist guy from Valencian Country and I'm happy I've found this site so I can learn more about your country and pro-independence movement.
We have some things in common.
In 1707, we lost a war against the "Bourbouns" and our laws and institutions were eliminated by the king. They imposed the castillian rules and organization... This year we are commemorating the 300th anniversary of this event.
Also, this year, we have elections and it's expected that we can throw out the PP government (Aznar's party), and for the first time in democracy have a nationalist member of the government (sadly, we will need to govern in coalition with the spanish socialists).
I've read in the news that you are doing great in polls, and I hope Scotland and Valencian Country, 300 years after 1707, can start a new era 
(by the way, sorry for my english).

Yeah, well, here we have catalanists, who think we are the same nation, and anti-catalanists who hate everything related to catalonia -these are usually pro-spain by the way...-
So we have a kind of complicated situation here, but we will manage to survive

Good luck with your nationalist movement in Valenica.
I hope you're not being asked too many questions, but how do you feel about the Castillian Nationalists? Do you have the same sort of aims or are you political enemies?

Pip, here castillian independentists are a very few. Spanish nationalists are 'our' enemy, but they have a castillian view of Spain. For example, they consider castillian the spanish national language. Etc etc...

Interesting Valenican. I only mention it as there are some parallels between England's relationship to Britain and Castile's relationship to Spain. I have spoken with a couple of Castilian Nationalists on the internet.
I wish you all success in re-establishing your nations.
