Hibs on SundayAnyone watch it on the tv? I hope Hibs looked as good on the tv as they were in real life - which was absolutely outstanding, albeit against a very poor Rangers side. Think this is going to be a very good season for Hibs with the first team doing so well, Zemmama and Boozy coming back from injury, players like Sheils and Fletcher on the bench. We've got almost all the key players on long term deals and the latest financial results should allow us to bring in a player or two come January. 
Heard Walter Smith was in the stand yesterday as well, there's no way he can pick Ferguson on the basis of that performance. I know he's just back from injury, but he was useless yesterday. I'd put Brown, Thomson and Stewart in the Scotland squad before him.

I didn't see any of the game on the TV, but that picture is better than a thousand words

It may be up until January when the ritual of one of the Old Firm coming in and nicking all the best players from clubs begins. These players then languish in the reserves never to be seen or heard of again.

They won't do that with Hibs. Not unless they want to get serious about the money, which I don't think they are willing to spend. Hibs are in a very strong financial position at the moment with all the key players on long term deals. We might lose some players, but I expect them to go down south or to the continent. The one exception is Michael Stewart who has about a year on his contract I think, and there are already rumours that Celtic are going to offer him a pre-contract in January. I think he'll sort out a deal with Hibs though.
