petrov flatters to decieve. hes a bit like a tampon hes only usefull for one week a month.
probably will be a early exit, i would take third now. benfica and copenhagen are no mugs and our defence is clearly too weak for the level required.
still though the last two signings have been a nice change from telfer et al.

Did you see the striker West Ham signed? Carlos Tevez. He's probably just paving the way to a move to a bigger club, but fair play to West Ham.

Brown will not go to Celtic. On a 5 year deal and he's good enough to get interest from the EPL, so he'll go for decent money. Not the kind of money Celtic will offer.
Some move from West Ham. Could make a big difference to their season. I doubt he (and Mascherano) will last more than the one season there before moving on.
