Kensington Oval BarbadosThe super eights in the cricket world cup and the final will be held here,
unfortunately, the stoopid camera decided to run out of erm "Film" so I did'nt get any inside the stadium.
Above are just some African Drummers, behind is the tempory stand which will come down after it's all over. when all is over. The Total capacity is 28.000 I believe.
This is outside the stadium by the road.

It certainly looks good from the outside BG.
Hopefully Scotland will be there for the final, but judging how they are doing in their first warm-up game against Sri Lanka - it is highly improbable!!!

Hi RH, well the last I heard was 119 for seven and that was about half an hour ago! Its too dark to play now so I guess it's over! I'm listening to the windies match results now,
Scotland was I believe 119 for seven,I haven't got the details yet. Sri Lanka won let me put it that way!
windies 268-4 Kenya 247-7.
England crushed Bermuda 45 all out, eight of those runs were extras!
Ireland lost to South Africa but as far as I'm aware, they didn't do so bad.
can you imagine Scotland's match against Sri Lanka was played right here, but there was no coverage of the match either on radio or TV that's why I am not sure of the full results.
The Windies match was broadcasted on the radio NOT the TV! But guess whose match was shown on the telly and it wasn't S.A V's Ireland!!!
So that's me peeved off!

It was the same here BG. Frankly the media's coverage (or should I say lack of coverage) of Scotland's trip has been terrible.

That would be great RH I am contemplating going to watch the match though I'm not sure about the park and ride arrangements for the Three W's oval, any way it's a lot closer to where I live one plus!
It would be great to get some photo's especially now I've learnt how to post them!!
Then there's the engerlish fans who are bound to be there .... Now which size brick shall I take in my purse .......hummmnnnnnn

Aaahhhh. It was always going to be difficult when we posted such a low score, but when Bangladesh were 15 for 2 after 5 overs, I thought we might be able to pull it off
Not to worry, we are saving our best form for the opening match

My heart is in my mouth for scotland today RH!!
Meanwhile they actually televised the match yesterday between the windies and pakistan! ( England wasn't playing! ) I had stuff to do and didn't see it all but what I did see left me impressed! To watch the young players take it to the Pakistani's instead of relying on the senior players was a sight to see! Dwane Smith who I think has the potential to be unbelieveable got the man of the match award. If they play like that most of the time, look out world!
All in all, BG"s a happy camper!!
One down,many to go!

I guess that is what you call a cricketing lesson
Smith getting over 50 was good news though. Let's hope he carries that form into the rest of the tournament.

Thought Scotland did well on the bowling front for about 47 overs. I thought we were going to contain them to under 300, but Hogg managed 40 off 15 balls in the last few overs.
Smith also had a hard chance to catch Pointing in the 20's. Then he goes on to make over a hundred. That's cricket!
Ireland seem to holding their own against Zimbabwe at the moment. I think the St Patrick's day celebrations would start early if the pulled off the win

Can you believe it.
Ireland and Zimbabwe tied!!!!!!
Zimbabwe only needed 15 off 36 balls to win with 4 wickets remaining, yet still didn't win.
Well done Ireland
