MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Drivers) doesn’t seem to include mothers like this one (and why aren't they called mother & fathers against drunk drivers?):
| Quote: | A MOTHER-of-three has escaped a jail term despite being caught drink-driving three times in five hours. Brisbane Magistrate's Court was told Casey Leigh Miru, 23, was first caught during a random breath test at 5.37am on February 9.
She had been driving on William St in the city when she was pulled over and returned a blood-alcohol reading of 0.152. Her licence was suspended and she was given a notice to face court.
Less than an hour later at 6.25am, the same police were returning to their vehicle when they again saw Miru in her car in William St.
The Geebung mother said she was moving it to prevent it being towed, before the officers tested her and she registered a reading of 0.135. She was charged again, taken to the watchhouse and released at 8.46am.
But her run of outs continued at 9.55am when one of the officers was off duty and his vehicle was overtaken by Miru's car at Newmarket. Police said she was driving erratically before she was pulled over and recorded a blood-alcohol reading of 0.082.
She was then taken to the watchhouse where she was kept for the rest of the weekend. |
The girl gets many out of jail passes yet again!
