You are right Nina, the subtitles are not remotely even close. But why attribute a Scots accent to him? Somebody with a warped sense of humor, probably an Englishman.

I'd ber very surprised if it was not a Scot who created this, given the colloquial phrases used.

That is very intereresting; in a certain sense you are right. If it was made by a Scot it certainly is a rare form of inside humor. It is somewhat like a joke I had heard about a young Scotsman who was living and working in England and one morning as he was leaving the train station he was accosted by a street beggar for some change. On brushing the beggar aside, the beggar began to curse at him whereupon the young Scot recognized the expressions and the accent as being from Glasgow. He turned and began to talk with the beggar and learned they were both from the same nieghborhood, whereupon the beggar asked him if he was a Celtic or a Ranger fan. The young Scot replied that like his father he was raised to be a Ranger fan whereupon the beggar said to him, "Y'ere D'a raised yer to be a c***t then.".
