Ming Campbell - Democratic Hypocrisy

Ming Campbell on being asked to comment on the apparent (sic) upsurge in support for independence responded that he did infact conceded that there was

Quote "in my words; shall we say an 'interest' in independence"

He went on to add that this would be tested in the forthcoming election when we would see if it was reflected in support for the SNP.

Is this the same Ming Campbell who has been stating, along with everyone in the media, that the majority of the U.K. were against the war in Iraq? and continue in ever increasing numbers to be against the war.

Using Ming's logic then that support was tested in the last general election where Iraq was 'the' number one issue bar none. In that election the two parties who supported the war overwhelmingly outnumbered those parties who were against in terms of MP's returned.

Again I find myself wondering why Glen Campbell did not correct Ming's assertion that there was merely interest in independence.

Why also did he not point out the apparent contradiction in Mings logic when Ming suggested that MP's returned in an election were proportional to the electoral support for a parties central single issue?

If it was indeed the case then Ming Campbell would be PM.

Is there any way for members of the public to complain about this lack of vigour on the part of the interviewer.

I believe that Glen might be Ming's great, great grandson.
