Haha, nah it won't be Levein. At the moment seems that John Collins is coming up a lot, with Paatelainen, Hughs. Ian McParland at Notts Forest is a name that's coming up as well. Collins and Paatelainen would be very popular (including with me), Hughs would have been few months ago, but not anymore.

I was only kidding about Levein, but I was a little alarmed at his comments. The reason he gave for having no interest in the job was his long association with Hearts. Nothing mentioned about the fact that he has only just agreed to join Raith Rovers.

If I was a Hibees fan, I would be much more happy with Paatelainen being appointed rather than Joan Collins. It is always risky appointing a manager with no previous experience.

Hibs will be looking for someone who is available to start immediately, has played at the highest level, has international experience, has experience of managing a club in the SPL and has a track record with youngsters.

Step forward a man who meets all the above criteria.....

sorry to hear about Mowbray SLG, I know he was popular with the Hibees support.

John Collins would be an awesome manager though - he's been biding his time for a few years now for the right opportunity to come along - this might just be it.

Well there's lots of rumours going about... I know a few folk who are convinced it's going to be Collins.

well Collins seems to have the same ideas on fotball as Mowbray so you never know. I think it would be good for hibs if the board went for broke as opposed to playing it safe with a manager who may not give as many young players the chance due to 'risk'
