Scottish rugbysee the sru is getting rid of the border reivers because of the lack of money. we are going to end being a laughing stock on the international stage and the heineken cup if it is still going after thursday.sru needs to look at getting more people in that is willing to a share in the clubs so money can be made i think some of the committee members are still living in the amateur age yet.the other thing they have to do is get more rugby on tv i don't know when the last time i saw ant club games tv it is like melrose .gala hawick.wastionans and the rest no longer exist. how the ell they can make the game grow when you can not watch it is beyond me.

Certaiiny seems like a step back if they leave such a large part of Scotland, which has quite strong links to rugby from what I gather with no Profesional side. Here in Wales one of our regional sides was disbanded which covered much of the South Wales Valleys as a result people in one of the main rugby areas of Wales don't have a 'pro' team.
The SRU have failed to market the sport properly. While football has such a firm grip on the sporting interest it's difficult, it's not impossible. I and many enjoy both. I prefer going to watch rugby though despite understanding football better. Just better craic and less threatening.

well now the Heineken cup is being stop that's Scottish rugby really in the s**t now our international status will become a laughing stock before long.
i think wales will suffer as well but doubt what extent if it will be the same as scotland.
