Glasgow Queen Street Station - BoozersHi folks,I was wondering about Queen St station, catching a flight back to Scotland on sunday and arrive around 730pm or so and then going to take a train home at 9.40 - was wondering is there a boozer in Queen St station? I think remember there was one but unsure, I remember the Burger King though or is there a decent pub down the road for a pint or two before the train? cheers in advance, kevin |

Hi Kevin,
I have been in the pub in Queen St station, but can't remember it having much atmosphere. You are just across the road from George Square which has a big Wetherspoons on the corner called the Counting House. But there are a few pubs around if you venture out of the station. |

My favourite city centre pub which is really close to Queen St is The Auctioneers.

by far the best bar in glasgow and i frequent it often is th blue dog. only 5 mins walk from the station. absolutely no neds and that is important. | ||
