Frail apponted caretaker managerStephen Frail has today been appointed caretaker manager of Hearts with full responsibility for first team affairs.
Quoted on the Hearts website as saying that he hopes his "thoughts will count now", I hope that he proves himself, gets the team out of the quagmire it is currently in - and ultimately gets rewarded for the loyalty he has shown.

The Board of Heart of Midlothian Football Club (Hearts) has begun the search for a football manager to fill the current vacant post at Tynecastle.
The manager, who will have full responsibility for team selection, will be an experienced football manager and will preferably have experience of management in British football.
The new manager will work with sport director Anatoly Korobochka and assistant head coach Stephen Frail.
In the interim Stephen Frail will assume the "caretaker manager" role at Hearts with full responsibility for team selection and coaching of the first team squad.
The Board of Directors of Hearts acknowledges it is not acceptable for Hearts to be in its current position in the league.
The new manager's task will be to drive the club forward on the playing side to fulfill the club's ambitions.
The move by the Board of Directors has the full backing of Hearts majority shareholder Vladimir Romanov.

Caretaker manager Stephen Frail today admitted there will be no hiding place for underperforming stars, after he was handed the reins following Hearts' decision to seek to appoint a permanent football manager.
The former right-back has been put in charge of first team affairs following top level discussions over Hogmanay. After admitting his delight at taking on the challenge, he was quick to point out that Hearts' league position is still a big concern.
Confirming that he has full control over team selection, Stephen told Hearts World, "I will be talking to the players and I will be stressing the importance of what I am looking for. I am sure that this will not be different to what the new manager wants.
"We need to be working hard. We need everyone who plays to earn the right to play. There will be one or tow changes in terms of games, personnel and horses for courses.
"Everyone who goes out on the training pitch will know they will need to be playing well."
And the interim boss warned that he'll be taking a tough approach in order to haul the Jambos back up the league table, where they belong.
"If you are going on reputation or you knew the last time you could play one, miss two and then be back in for four hopefully that will not be the case any more," he said.
"It will be wake up call for one or two other ones who again think they can turn up and play just because of who they are, regardless of whether they have played much football.
"My understanding is that I've been given full reign on that side of things and anyone who thinks they are just there for the sake of it will be making a mistake about that.
"Hopefully the ones I know I can rely on will see it as a positive thing and can lift the place.
"We are still in the position we are in. Let's not be too casual about it. There is a lot of work to be done in order to progress.
"I am delighted to be given the opportunity of steady things and hopefully when the new man comes in we'll leave him in a healthy position to take the club forward."
For now Hearts won't have a lot of time to make drastic changes - tomorrow's game against Dundee United is barely 24 hours away - but after that Stephen admitted he'll be looking to implement some new ideas.
"My priority is the next couple of games - Dundee United and Kilmarnock where we need to get something then after that we can settled down and plan one or two things," he added.
"My thoughts will count now. Over the next wee while I will look at ways we can go and beat Dundee United. They are off the back of poor results and we are as well but it is now my team.
"Personnel will not change much but I am hoping I will get a reaction from them. We are capable of getting results up at Tannadice.
"We have as squad that is reasonably big but we have some out injured and some who are coming back to fitness. It is not like we can wipe out the back four and put in a new one. Where we do have extra players we might not have the quality.
"There will be one or two [changes] in terms of the way we will play. It is something that will take time. It is something I am very excited about."
Stephen Frail met his coaching staff first thing this morning before addressing his players for the first time since taking up his new position. The team then trained for the final time ahead of tomorrow's game against Dundee United.

Another humping for the Jambos today - it looks the cup finalists from a few years ago could well be in a relegation dog fight.
How can Hearts go from being a top side in Scotland making UEFA cup group stages, CL qualifiers, challenging for titles to a laughing stock of Scottish football?
It's not going to get any better either, Mad Vlad doesn't even go to the games anymore.
