'Two Gags' PrescottNo doubt that Prescott does have some kind of eating disorder, but is the timing of this really coincidence? Brown is at his lowest eb in the media.Suspected similar for the secretary thing, the timing of that revelation did not appear to be forced either, but was 'useful'. Just a thought. |

Prescott makes us all sick 
Remember as Transport Secretary he told the Liebour conference... "Branson, we're watching you!" (With regard to improvements to rolling stock etc). Much reported in the media at the time. Less reported though, was the compensation paid to Virgin Trains for the purchase of tilting trains which (I think still are) unable to tilt on the Victorian lines they operate on! Why, oh why was this pillock ever regarded as a 'heavy weight' (pardon the pun) with the Liebour Party? |

I hate to sound unpleasant, but that's really not that funny. Neither was 'Nu Labour' (whatever that's supposed to mean' or misspelling Blair as Bliar.

I liked John Prescott for some reason. I liked his frankness, like on the Trinidad and Tobago trip when he went "Well I get an effing free holiday". It's nice to have characters like him in politics, it makes it easier to relate to and makes it more interesting. | ||||
