PM's QTWasn't Brown dire?
For all Blair's faults, and they are too numerous to recount here, at least he would have stood up for himself.
e.g. to the Cable 'Mr Bean' jibe he might have said something like this:
"I thank the honourable gentleman for his considered and mature contribution. I'm sure the honourable gentleman is grateful that his party has no 'Mr Beens' and I am equally sure that the rest of us will take even greater comfort in the knowledge that his party consists entirely of 'never-will-bes'."
