Off topic I know but that reminds me of a useful domestic tip for chaps that don't clean the cludgie.
Squirt some deteregent into the cludge,
Add 1 cat,
Shut lid (quickly),
Hold down lid,
Flush.
This even works well in hard water areas where limescale deposits are a problem.
However, my personal recommendation would be that some precautions are taken before executing this effective cleaning & descaling procedure, in particular, LEAVE THE LAVATORY DOOR OPEN; you do not want to find yourself locked in a small room with the cat immediately upon its release.
