Royal MailI got an email this morning asking why I have not acknowledged receipt of a package posted out to me from the US over three weeks ago.
Yet I have received several packages posted out from different States of the USA within 5 days of placing orders, in the last week.
What do they all have in common??? That's right, when the items reach our shores, delivery is assumed by Royal Mail ... who then proceed to use a system of their own devising, where they don't know wtf they're doing.
Does anyone remember the "Consignia" fiasco???
Sometimes I think we have the worst postal service in the world!!!

I had a package delivered from the US in just under two weeks, while one posted in the UK took 5 weeks to arrive.

Not surprised. Royal Mail needs to be nationalised!!!

When I used to live there, many a time my mail ended up in Bermuda.

Thanks for the lessons, but you know hunni,I come here to check out the political arguments because I am interested in Scottish affairs,particularly as I may also end up living there(Scotland) at some point. And, frankly, I can't begin to comprehend that Unionist mentality among Scots who are happy living in a dependent country and not wanting to stand on their two feet,so to speak,the mind simply boggles!! It is this that I can't come to terms with. so I try to make sense of it for my own peace of mind!! 
Anyhoo', apart from that of course I love a good laff and unlike some certain"soor plooms" around here (not oor' lot), am not particularly anti-social and lacking in social skills and I certainly enjoy fooling around and acting the eejit, therefore my grammar is the last thing on my mind,I just let it flow babes.
