Euro MEP Ian Hudghton will be in Falkirk this week to present a debate entitled 'Scotland in Europe' on Friday, March 23rd. The event will be held in the Best Western Park Hotel, Falkirk - 7pm for 7.30pm.
Ian Hudghton MEP, who is also President of the Scottish National Party will be joined by Michael Matheson MSP and well known Nationalist Annabelle Ewing.
Michael Matheson has been a list MSP for Central Scotland since 1999 and Annabelle Ewing has extensive knowledge and experience of the European system having lived and worked in Brussels as a lawyer.
Leader of Falkirk Council, Councillor David Alexander will chair the meeting, to which all members of the public are invited to attend.
The event will focus on Scotland's role in Europe and how this can be expanded over future years.
Ian Hudghton MEP commented: "I am very much looking forward to visiting Falkirk again and hearing local views on Scotland's role in Europe. Scotland can make a much larger impact on Europe than it currently does and this event will examine exactly how that can be achieved. I very much hope that residents with an interest in current affairs will come along to the meeting."
Light refreshments will be available.

The time for listening to speeches is over!

300 should take you about an hour and half depending on the area to be covered. wish I could help but I will be out leafleting and canvassing myself. but have decide that a small chat with my two local candidates and the party president may give me a boost for the next 5 weeks of constant work.

The 'Scotland in Europe' meeting was directed at members of the public, not activists, so good on you Lothian Sky for choosing to pound the streets instead!
