SPL give Monday games go-aheadMonday night fitba - to suit Setanta??? Could work with certain games, but the Aberdeen-Hibs game next month? Crazy, how many fans are going to travel up and down after work on a Monday night for that. That is just stupid...why the hell don't they play these games on Friday night instead when folk are more likely to travel? |

Because it's all about the TV. Friday night folk go out - so they'll either be at the game or in the pub. Not at home subscribing to Setanta. Monday night everyone is in watching crap tv. |

tell me about it SLG - I'd already booked flights over for the Aberdeen v Hibs game and my flight returns to Dublin on the Sunday, so I'm missing the game

That's unlucky dubscot. I know there's a few Hibees who have alreasy made plans to be in Aberdeen that weekend and have been screwed over. Why couldn't they have announced the dates for these fixtuers ages ago? I still wouldn't have agreed with it, but at least it stops folk like yourself booking flights and then finding out the games been moved. |
