Traffic ReportThought it would be a good idea to have this as as a separate thread. so we could know what the traffic is like where you live. Not me ... the Blackadder pile is as far from traffic as we can get. This is for you little people! 
Roads
The A1 Northbound at Doncaster was disrupted after a highways maintenance lorry shed its load of filter signs, creating over 200 lanes on the carriageway. Police say that vehicles over the width of two inches should seek an alternative route.
Rail
Services in and around London are liable to delays today for the Rubik's Rail Challenge - a brain twisting game of strategy based on the Rubik's Cube. Arriving for work this morning, signalmen discover the Strategic Rail Authority have changed all the points to divert incoming trains around the capital to the wrong stations. Changing one set of points at a time, they must restore order.
Buses
In Glasgow, service 88 will now be known as service 67 after a cost-cutting review.

Around here, if you don't own a car, you don't go anywhere. The nearest passenger train, long distance, not commuter, is a 4 hour drive away, they nearest airport is a 6 hour drive, you can catch a Greyhound bus, if you don't mind catching it's diseases, after just a 1 hour drive. The nearest freeway is an hour. We have a 2 lane highway, single lane gravel roads and trails.
And I am not exaggerating!

The A199 is a disaster area. Avoid where possible.
Roads in and out of Oxford are now closed to people who do not fit the local council's Entry Policy. If you or your partner are ugly ... go to Cambridge instead.
Edinburgh's roads are presently a nightmare. This mess will continue due to a tram scheme no-one except the councillors want. So, we must ask ... who is running the city for whom?
Dundee ... yes or no?

Never been to Dundee but I have been to both Oxford and Cambridge, what does that tell you about my physical appearance? LOL
