Hugh Andrew was the publisher of Winnnie Ewing's autobigraphy interestinlgly!.
He writes frrequently to The Herald amd blows hot and cold on the SNP - sometimes he writes quite nasty letters and sometimes he is quite favourable - he seems to be an old fashioned independent minded Liberal rather than a Limp Damp clone.

It's a shame that being a democrat should mark you out as an 'old fashioned' Lib Dem - but we live in interesting times.

Perhaps a better description of a Liberal Democrat politician is as a congenital liar and that of a voter as a starry eyed 'silly billy'. Baring in mind this is a family show it needs to be a gentle description does it not.
