Welcome to the Our Scotland Fantasy Football Forum

For the first time, Our Scotland is bringing you a Fantasy Football Prediction League Very Happy

Each week simply post you predictions for the six SPL games being played that week and watch avidly as the scores come in to see if yours have come up.

There will also be an Our Scotland League published each week showing how you are faring against other Our Scotland players.

In an exciting joint venture, we have also teamed up with Scotsgait (formerly Free Talk Scotland) and If Things Were Perfect to run an inter-forum league. So hopefully an Our Scotland member will be top of that league every week Very Happy

There is a Frequently Asked Questions thread posted so refer to that if you are having issues. If this doesn’t resolve the problem, get in touch with me and I’ll do my best to resolve it.

Each week there will be a separate thread for that week’s fixtures, so just respond to it with your predictions and you are playing.

Good luck for the season!!

Yet if we should give up what has begun, and fail to make our forum the Kings of Fantasy Football, we should exert ourselves at once to drive you out as our enemy and a subverter of a wee league like ours, and find some other man or woman next season who was well able to claim the title as King Tipster; for, as long as but twelve of us remain, never will we on any conditions be beaten by OurScotland. It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor freedom that we are playing, but for honour -- for that alone, which no honest FFS poster gives up but with life itself.

OK, enough of the wind-ups. But I do think it only fair to tell you guys that both OF and Hearts are to field reserve teams for the 04 Aug. fixtures, so you might all want to edit your predictions accordingly. According to Bryce Stevens, an SFA official who I've known for years, the OF broke rule 45 paragraph 3 of the SPL Code of Conduct for payment irregularities. Hearts fielded an ineligible player, and as well as having to play their reserve team (U21yrs of age I think the rules stipulate), have also been ordered by the SFA to play their first fixture behind closed doors for not registering three coaches. Gretna will also be missing two star players, Graham Scott and Davie Wilson, both of whom broke their legs on their pre-season jaunt to Skegness. So, I wouldn't be tipping them for a win either. If you want any more insider information, just give us a shout - my contacts at the SFA are vast.

Oh yeah, before I forget. Due to an extremely bitter summer ICT have as a precautionary measure been forced to lay down a plastic pitch for the month of August only (Michael Fish has promised it'll be a really mild autumn apparently), so you might want to keep that in mind as well. Didn’t quite fool the officials at Aberdeen though, who are now hastily trying to erect a new pitch for the month of September, two miles further inland. Marks & Spencers in St.Nichoals Street in the meantime are doing a roaring trade in furry-hooded parkas and shares in the copmany have soared, while B&Q have run out of chain-saws.

Cheers

Have the Heart first team's loan period come to an end and they've been called back to Kaunus? Laughing
