I've always thought he was an amazing player - but this season he has even surprised me.
Saying that, he didn't really need to get out of second gear to excel in the SPL. It's only in the past couple of years he's shown what he is really capable of.

he showed it time and time again with celtic in europe though, its good to see that now even the english dont doubt his class.

Its been hard to doubt his class with his goals for Barcelona this season and the fact that he had a great role in there European Cup win.

Lagerback's decision to make a substitution before Larson took the penalty was absolutely unbelievable.
It would be hard to prove that is why he missed the penalty, but it is one of the factors.
I think Germany would still have won. They are coming on strong, but the team that wins the match between Argentina vs Germany will win the World Cup.

was watching it with my da and we both knew he would miss. when he first started taking them at celtic he just hit them into the roof of the net, keepers obviously noticed this though and he started trying to place them. it was all down hill from there.
