youScotland.comWell, I fancy that most of the posters on this site are quite switched on, but just in case...
I found you guys through this site, and some of you folks are already there. But since I can't see anyone else recommending it at the mo, check out
This Site Here.
with (y)our help, they're going to change the landscape. Can it really be so? Discuss.
Peace and Love,

Here's hoping - good concept.
Shame about the forum layout - isn't 'inviting' at all. Hope they sort it all out...

Absolutely. I've sent them an email telling them to try using the phpBB software that you guys are using, and that I've used regularly at crackers4cheese.com and CroftNo.5's now defunct site.
It's the best forum software I've come across, so hopefully they'll look at it. These 'tree' systems are awkward and irritating, I can't see anyway in which they are better than this style...

The thing is... I still don't really know what youscotland is going to do that's different. It seems to be set up on a very worthy ideal, but is it going to be just another discussion forum? And if so, is it really needed?
What is it going to do that's different?

Hi Mrjocku, can I just ask, is it purely a political board?
Will there be a section for just chatting?
It is an odd design, but I'm sure we would get used to it.

I believe that it's to be a board where the peoples of Scotland can air their views and opinions on any subject, and ultimately, the 'representatives' of 'the people' in Edinburgh will act accordingly.
Their key point seems to be that people aren't apathetic and disinterested in politics per se, rather they are disillusioned with the process. YouScotland advocates a digital electorate as far as I can tell...
Not sure if they're going to bother with a banter section.
But I'll say it again here - they need to sort out the way of organising their boards, because they're not condusive to flowing debate at the moment.
