And where are they all now, huh?? The candy-asses have left the building!!! That's where!
Or will they come back and try to horn in on the run for the last few pages? Geeks!!
Who among us will be FIRST to reach that magical number #200?
Personally, my money's on Carol. She beats us all to posting every morning. But then ... she doesn't have a life!
I think I asked this before ... but WHO are the Firstfooters ... and are we beating them so far?? Not that I'm competitive or anything like that! |

I can confirm that they're only on 133. And the last post was about a month ago. It looks like the thread has died, while ours is not just standing but walking tall!
Anyway, BA, you won't beat me with your virus chatter. I catch every cold going and the effect has been to produce a body that doesn't repel viruses but is capable of ignoring them. Nothing except food poisoning can stop me!
Though, food poisoning does affect me in very weird ways... I once had a dodgy curry and woke up in the middle of the night thinking I was Gordon Brown. _________________ (\_/)

Dodgy tummy?? 'Ee, but you're lucky. Wish that was all that I ever got!
Try Labyrinthitis ... an inner ear infection. I've had that twice so far this year. And once about 10 years ago. I won't go into it great detail, cos you can google it.
But I'll tell you this boy ... severe motion sickness and acute diahorrea and throwing up, and when you try to walk ... it's like you're on a ship in a heavy swell and you're bouncing off the walls ... It lasts from 10 days to 2 weeks (or more if you're really unlucky and it's really severe) and it's what is termed a "cuckoo disorder" in that you catch it on the back of something else, usually a respiratory infection.
Not at all nice. I don't recommend it. Especially if you get seasick like I do. Which is why my yacht is taken to where I want go ... then I fly out to join it! I ain't altogether daft!
Only 133 pages?? WIMPS! We're going full tilt. What after we reach it though? 300 pages?? Hmm? |

Good grief, BA, that sounds... well, less than delightful.
And 300 pages? Pah! I spit on your 300 pages!
The 1,000 should be our goal. _________________ (\_/)

Is that a challenge? Cos I can't resist good challenges, you know.
You do realise this means my posting will increase tenfold till you're all thoroughly sick of me. Or have I passed that point a while back??
Ha! I care not a whit. As the peasants of my ancestral lands were heard to sing in their despair over the last 500 years ...
Beware. Beware!
Blackadder's everwhere!
He'll scare us all so silly
And we'll run round willy-nilly
Beware! Beware!

Question btw .... if there's 700 members of this forum .... why is it always the same dozen or so who seem to be the sole posters?? Don't you have a rule where you must post at least once a month to retain membership or you get bumped off (so to speak!)??
Just thought I'd ask.
Thinking out loud really.
That's all. Except Reluctant Hero has just made it on to my revenge list. Congratulations RH. Keep looking over your shoulder ... cos you'll never know the moment!
Ho-hum.
Where's Baldrick? I feel like I need to give someone (or thing) a damn good whipping ... and he's got my vote! |
