Apparently the best man at my parents' wedding believed that women were only good for two things: making bacon sandwiches and going on embarrassing messages.

Mind you, his first words to my mother were, "I never sleep alone... are any of your friends single?"

And he was married. To a woman he only ever referred to as "The Face". Confused

Nasty thunder and lightning here today with rain and hail and wind. It's finally calmed down now, and cooled off. And the good news, no trees blew down this time!

weather here is overcast forecast is sun, heading to Edinburgh to visit a friend later, here's hoping the sunshine is there!

My gripe for today - just placed an on-line order with a well known cosmetics company only to discover that an extra £2 delivery is added on to remote areas Confused

and apparently Perthshire is one Twisted Evil

Hey, no comments about my hair Blacky! LOL

My neighbors have left their little dog in their barn today, they are apparently gone. Anyway, the little dog is barking and howling, sounds like a demon in a well, and it has my 2 really upset. Bonny keeps pacing from window to window to look for the Thing, Taffy huddles at my feet, looking at me like she wants to cry. It's really pitiful. I walked over and looked in the barn just to see if the dog was stuck or hurt, it's just cooped up and doesn't like it. It has water, a couple of chewy bones, food, the windows up higher than the dog can jump are open, it just wants out.

I think the spinach in the salad for tonight's tea followed by advocado pear is enough to put him off anything I dish up in front of him Very Happy
