Well yes, in it's place I enjoy a wee dram or two myself. Malt only, can't stand blended whisky. I am quite fond of Pimms as well though.

GTT = Glenfiddich Times Two, sounds WAY better than gin!
Beautiful sunny day here, but it's not too warm which doesn't make sense as it's VERY sunny! I expected it to be hot by 10 AM and it's very pleasant.
I went out and checked the new plants this morning and they seem to be doing well, the clematis are even vining their way up the trellis! One's leaves looked a bit wilty so I have the sprinkler on them now.
Boring old Wednesday, I need to do some lesson planning so I can get my Science class 'shopping' list turned in; Plaster of Paris, Epsom Salts, Rocket Fuel. . . that comes in two states, powder propellant (Bicarb. of Soda) and liquid propellant (Lemon Juice), both harmless on their own but mix them together and you can launch a plastic pop bottle two stories! _________________ I don't have hobbies; hobbies cost money. In the TV world it is considered wise to avoid anywhere Jessica Fletcher goes ... is a place to avoid And wherever Carol and her brood (the 40 strong Gangsta Massive) are bevvying ... likewise!! |

Well BA, when my daughter-in-law had her hen night she made more than £200 when her pals trailed her round the local pubs. Seems quite a profitable thing these days. Wish they did it when I got married. _________________ I fear not hell, nor English strife,

Wish I could be at the hen night in person, but I'll be there in spirit! i may even have some spirits in support!
Pop, nasty stuff BA, but it is kind of handy when blowing things up! heh heh heh! Although, we got really good results a couple of years ago at Rocket Launching, using cold coffee as the liquid propellant! I'll have the kids run gas tests and see what they can mix up! _________________ I don't have hobbies; hobbies cost money. Interests are quite free.

RH you would be ravished if you turned up
Margaret apparently potty collections aren't allowed in Alloa as it's seen as begging, although I suspect we'll have one
Got a limo booked, driving through Alloa up to Stirling Castle (if it's the normal route) free drink for the full hour
BA you're just jealous the 40 strong luvverlies aren't chasing you
Cheers Kath |

Carol, I hope your hen night goes as well as all Scottish hen nights do ........ and you end up as a guest of the local constabulary for the night!
At least then you'll know you had a good night! |

As long as they don't throw away the key, a bed anywhere Sat night would do me, as long as it means sleep
I'm staying at my daughters so got to stagger/crawl up about 3 flights of stairs |

This will be hubbie #4. Do you want be body number #5??
You have no chance with Carol, the Black Widow of Perthshire!
I give #4 six months before he disappears .... or eats the Mushroom Surprise ... or "falls" under the iron pots n pans!
Do you want that to be you??? |
