I have two University degrees, a teaching degree and several other qualifications, RH ... none of which thankfully include accountancy. Not entirely innumerate ... but I leave number-crunching to the little people while I am a creative soul!

I might give that impression ... but actually no. I didn't study much before exams either. My tutors thought I might have an eidetic memory. But I don't think so. I'm just naturally gifted. 
When I did cheat ... and I admit I did ... it was only in passing answers to my classmates. Which I got caught for and had deductions made for it. I argued with the Principal (before he gave me six of the belt!) that I was showing leadership and teamwork ... but the old sod didn't fall for it!
He said that as a gifted individual, I had the great choice of being a force for good or evil. However he was giving me the belt, because it was clear I had already chosen sides, given my family history and my own obvious inclinations! Whatever that meant! Old git!!! |

Yes, I had a few old gits as teachers too. They'd have made mincemeat out of some of todays unruly kids.
Some of mine were ex services who had gone into teaching after the war and I swear they hated children.

Question ... what of "Balder's" should I educate? An article he owns? Part of himself?
Did you perhaps mean "Balders" ... which would have been correct!
