I agree it has relevance to our history and how our culture is shaped today.

That's why I'm all for it - it's part of modern Scotland whether people realise it or not.

I have also signed the petition... gaelic is increasing in scotland. More young children are learning how to speak gaelic. Yes there was a drop in the amount of people who speak it. but you would expect that with a declining population. Somthing the SNP plan to change.

Trueblue, Are you blue for scotland or blue for the conservative?

Well done. That's right. So let's listen to the good man from the SFA (see the article I posted above???) As for my own voice, I have let the SFA know my opinion and signed the petition. You are free to express your opinion likewise. What I object to is you making out that your opinion is reflective of the majority.

neither do you reflect or speak for the majority.

Did you read what I said? Of course I don't speak for the majority. I am an indivual and represent no groups. I'm am just giving my opinion - you should stick to doing the same.

If it is 923 out of 923 people sho know of the petition it is a 100% majority - pretty good I'd say. How many people have signed a petition against the move? None. Some minority eh?

No, if it was an election the "I want Alba on the Scotland shirts" party would have won. Elections are based on those who express an opinion (i.e. vote). In this case 923 people are in favour, none are against. You lose trueblue - but I expect you are quite used to that.

I won't find that because there will never be a vote on the matter. You are also the only vocal opposition I've heard on the matter.

No it's not - and it never will. It's a matter for the SFA. Hence why (some time ago now) I asked if you were David Taylor, or know him, because all you have been saying is contradictory to the original article that I posted.
