I've wanted a Scottish national news since I was old enough to watch it.

Most of the current main news is irrelevent to Scotland as anything to with health and education is almost certainly not relevant. Most of the economic news has a London slant to it. The weather map still has a tilt on it and is presented from a London point of view. And as for the sport, well, the BBC's coverage is reason enough to support whoever England's playing.

To get an idea of how London centric the BBC is, watch News 24 in the morning, which shows the same as BBC1's Breakfast Show. When BBC1 cuts to regional news, News 24 always goes to the BBC London news, complete with local traffic reports.

I have to say though, every time I watch the EBC 6 o'clock news it makes me angry. Maybe we should keep it, it can only make people want independence more!
