I'm not in any kind of competition with you. I don't care who is at the top of each and every column. Nor does it imply (as you do) that you're better than me at anything. That's a game you're playing with no-one but yourself!

BA I don't race you to the top, it's just that you're so 'above' your 'peasants' that's it's nice for you to be beneath me at times |

Margaret beneath me could mean various - I'd have BA as a slave, maybe in the kitchen 'cos I can't cook, not sure if he'd be useful elsewhere |

Yes I can cook. I was taught by Pierre D'Lanchard who owns several famous restaurants in Europe and the USA. My mother taught me the basics of home cooking, but she had been raised to cook and bake by her mother and grandmother. Even my siblings could cook before their untimely deaths. We were taught to be self-sufficient in all things.
The only thing I'd ever cook for you, Carol ... is my Fungi Surprise. |

I don't smoke. The mushrooms were delicious by the way, if out of season. Your share is still here, Carol. I baked a special little pie ... just for you ... |

BA are you trying to poison me?
Leave the best until last I'll only keel over if you do so first
on my first honeymoon many many moons ago, on the shores of Dalmally, we had a tin of sardines in our grocery box, well what would one do with fish? ....................... I fried them
during another marriage we had elderly friends around for tea, melt in the mouth stew from a pressure cooker, only would've had to scrape it off the ceiling to enjoy it, so had to end up with a chippie instead
I'm a walking disaster in the kitchen (and no smart comments BA!) |
